AMD wants cagalyst get past these frame pacing issues as quickly as possible and remove the cloud of doubt that has surrounded the since its launch, making this driver launch an extremely important event for the company.

Well these drivers seem OK. Exclusive by btarunr Aug 19th, I also uninstalled msi ab, but that didn't help. I also use it on DVI cataylst. It don't work and the mouse pointer issue is not fixed and the adds desktop mouse lag.

The current gen of cards has gone to AFR only, but with the previous gen 6XXX cardswhen using eyefinity and more than two cards I captured what was a switch to 'supertiling ' rendering seemingly without penalty.

It was so bad I could not figure out where to click on the windows that would pop up to install the drivers, I had to literally get another computer and figure out where the mouse was to click and install the drivers. Screams with glee I have been wondering when this update would come out. AMD was very quick to start working on resolving their single-GPU issues, and by March when they were willing and able to fully engage the tech communitythey had already solved the bulk of those single-GPU issues.

It skips it if it is already installed. Although this update doesn't benefit me, since I'm in the other camp EyefinityI'm glad they kept their promise back in April for the July update even if a little late.

I finally catalyts to a last known good config and ran Cataylst Driver Uninstaller 3. Either way other games are going to have to deal since I am wanting best performance I can get for Saints Row IV when it comes out over here.

I certainly wouldn't call the problem 'fixed', but the I wonder if they will add this support to DX9 games in the future. PCper has a good article on this if anyone wants to read more.

Post Your Comment Please log in or sign up to comment. FC3 ran nicely also, and CFX worked for me. Frame Pacing is enabled by default. I guess it was delayed for further testing. The problems in question were those related to frame latency, otherwise referred to as 'micro-stutter. I just reinstalled the driver from TPU's dutch mirror, didn't give me an error this time. FCAT could do what FRAPS alone could not, capturing and analyzing the very output of video cards to determine frame rates, frame times, and frame intervals.

Won't fix micro-stutter with Eyefinity setups. I actually tested both those games today, and they both played well. After doing that, gpu2 kicked just in while gaming. Unless ammd can find some other benefit, I will wait for the official version.

I've got an error message saying the digital signage of the driver hosted here on the TPU isn't correct and that I should try downloading it from the original source. Yeahbut what makes this interesting is that I am not running into 3 and 4 card problems.
